No-limits twittering, right from your email!

January 17th, 2008 by Brij · 1 Comment

We are thrilled to launch a new service which allows users to send status updates to Twitter from their existing email account.

At MessageDance, we believe email is the most easy-to-use, widely-adopted and under-utilized tool for the social media engagement. Twitter support extends our lead in providing email broadcast capability to popular social media destinations. Twitter joins MessageDance email network, which includes Facebook, Myspace, Livejournal, Xanga, Wordpress, Blogger and several other social networking sites.

We believe in Twitter’s value and we are sure this new feature of MessageDance will add to user experience by enabling long-message twittering. By providing a long-form hop between email and Twitter status update, MessageDance will enable creative mash-up of regular blogging and micro-blogging formats.

This launch includes twitter message backup support. MessageDance stores all incoming twitter posts in local database and republishes whenever Twitter is backup. We hope MacWorld situation will never happen again!

The sign-up process and feature-introduction are outlined in the help section.  If you got suggestions for improvement or any new ideas you would like us to pursue,  AskSam is waiting for your comments!

MessageDance is still in private beta phase, we are actively working with early adopters to improve user experience. Please continue sending your suggestions to suggestions@messagedanceinc.com.
